DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD NOISES

We have years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing dishwasher problems that cause loud noises to come from the appliance. The reason for the noises is usually either a broken washer arm bearing, pump housing or motor bushing. Because these are all common issues, customers can be sure we will be able to repair them ASAP!

WATER LEAKING

There are two reasons a dishwasher will leak water. The most common reason is there is an issue with the door closure or latch and the part will need a replacement. The other issue is a failed water inlet valve that will need to be repaired right after our arrival to your home. We have the replacement parts to repair Whirlpool, GE, Sears and all common brands of dishwashers.

DOESN’T START

In the event a dishwasher will not start or turn on, you need to ensure the dishwasher is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers. If this isn’t the problem, the problem might be related to the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

DOESN’T DRAIN/FILL

A dishwasher is designed to fill up with water and then drain water after the dishes are clean. A dishwasher won’t fill if there’s a broken door switch or float switch or broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher will not drain when there is a malfunctioning drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

DOESN’T CLEAN DISHES

A dishwasher is not much use if the dishes are dirty following a cycle. The dishes can be dirty when there’s a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. We have replacement parts available to fix these common dishwasher problems right away.

WON’T DRY DISHES

The job of a dishwasher is for it to wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to have to hand dry dishes and silverware after a cycle. Your dishwasher doesn’t dry when there is a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We are able to repair or replace manufacturer parts related to the drying functions of all types of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE SOAP

In order for a dishwasher to wash dishes, it must be able to dispense detergent or soap throughout the machine. This cannot occur when there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
